The Idea

What Right-Wing Nationalist actually means.

Right-Wing Nationalism emphasizes national sovereignty, economic protectionism, and cultural conservatism, often with state-enforced policies.

Ferdinand Marcos's Philippines (post-1972 martial law) maintained a pro-business environment while using nationalist rhetoric to justify repression of opposition. Marcos tolerated foreign investment but limited land reform and allowed corruption.
