§ 01
The Idea

What Constitutional Monarchist actually means.

A Constitutional Monarchy places a hereditary ruler under legal limits, often sharing power with a legislature while maintaining a strong capitalist economic system with moderate state intervention.

The Kingdom of Thailand, under King Maha Vajiralongkorn, exemplifies modern Constitutional Monarchism. While formal constitutions exist, the monarchy retains significant influence, and lèse-majesté laws severely limit criticism of the royal family.
