The Idea
What Anarcho-Collectivist actually means.
Anarcho-Collectivism seeks worker-run collectives where resources are shared, but wages and compensation remain based on labor contribution.
Mikhail Bakunin, a central figure in Collectivist Anarchism, advocated for the expropriation of capital by workers' associations. He rejected both capitalism and state socialism, envisioning a decentralized, cooperative society where production is managed collectively but individual effort still determines compensation.
